Titanium Heptoxide
Ti4O7
Titanium Heptoxide is a high pure-titanium sub-oxide, with the chemical formula Ti4O7. This product is in the magneli form, consisting of rock salt-structured crystal and rutile - type cubic crystal. It is blueish black, electrically conductive, and highly resistant to oxidation and corrosion in acid and base solutions made from titania feedstock. Chemically it is highly active. While being processed, it is able to disperse very well in water or organic solvents. Also, it is a material sensitive to hydrogen and oxigen. Meanwhile, it has super-condutivity, and can be used as high-performance material for electrodes, cell separator, and catalyst carriers. However, it is highly resistant to corrosion and heat, and can be used as the substitute for a petroeum-extraction lubricant.
Compared to titanium dioxide power, it has as excellent performance in heat-resistance, covering and dispersion but is better in acid-resistance and alkali-resistance. Besides, it is non-magnetic, intoxic and eco-friendly, reaching the food-grade safety levles.
It also can be made into high-end inorganic pigment of pure-blackness and used in high end inks, coatings and Cosmetics industries.
At present, the high-purity TimOn in China is exclusively manufactured by Kela Material.
Product characteristics
Titanium dioxide powder, in addition to having the high covering power, high dispersibility, and excellent heat resistance of traditional titanium dioxide powder materials, has better acid and alkali resistance, is completely non-magnetic, environmentally friendly and non-toxic, meets food-grade safety standards, and is also a high-end inorganic functional pigment with pure blackness. It can be widely used in high-end ink, paint, cosmetics and other industries.
